Waterlogic has acquired distributors Lux Aqua in Hungary and the Czech Republic

MAIDENHEAD, UK, PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC & BUDAPEST, HUNGARY, 30 APRIL 2018 – Waterlogic, a leading global designer, manufacturer, distributor and service provider of purified drinking water dispensers, announced that it has successfully completed the acquisition of Lux Aqua Hungária Kft. and Lux Aqua Czech s.r.o. The terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.

Lux Aqua is the distributor and service provider for Waterlogic water dispensers across Hungary and the Czech Republic. The companies were established by global household appliance brand Lux International in 2014 and 2016 respectively, to offer its business customers the highest level of service with the supply of Waterlogic’s unique technology.

Waterlogic has direct presence in 15 countries and an extensive independent global distribution network in place, reaching over 50 countries around the world. The deal accelerates Waterlogic’s strategy to enter new direct markets and expand its global footprint.

The combination of Waterlogic’s innovative products and Lux Aqua’s well-established presence in Hungary and the Czech Republic, means that more businesses around the world will enjoy great tasting drinking water of the highest purity.

Waterlogic was acquired in January 2015 by funds managed by Castik Capital, the European private equity investor. The acquisition of Lux Aqua is the 17th manifestation of the company’s buy and build strategy since the acquisition by Castik, following substantial acquisitions in the US, UK, Australia, Spain, France, Germany, and Scandinavia.
